Osteopathic monitoring of your little one, in addition to a medical follow-up, allows the parents to make sure of their good development.

Most common reason we see babys :

  • Plagiocephaly, Brachycephaly
  • Torticollis

  • Digestive disorder (functional regurgitation, infant colic)

  • Deformation of the skull that persists after birth

We have just the right thing for you ! Our “Welcome your little one and Mommy” visit is for you.

We will assess you and your little one. Latching can be difficult at first – you are not the only one ! Many reason can explain this situation from your baby’s tight jaw, Reflux, discomfort in your litle one’s neck, or just tension in your body.

Treatment to you and your newborn as well as adivised will be provided to enhance your relationship and help you both with the situation.

Many changes in the posture and balance of the entire body of the woman will occur during the 1st, 2nd and 3rd trimesters.

We usually recommand to come for a first visit at the end of the 1st trimester.

We see mom to be at the different stages of their pregnancy and help them with :

You will have to fill a few documents (intake form, consent of treatment, cancellation policy).

The practitioner will then ask you the reason that brought you at the Whole care. You will both talk about your symptoms, your medical history so the practitioner as a whole picture of you.

The practitioner will give you the time to get change (wear comfy clothe!) and he will assess you.

The assessement might include the practitioner asking you to do some mouvement or the practitioner making you do the movement. This way, your practitioner can understand and feel where are the restriction of mobility. As osteopathy is a whole body approach, the assessement might include : musculo-skeletal, cranial, osteo-articular, visceral systems.

Comfy clothe ! The practitioner might ask you to do some movement to assess your range of motion and it’s always more difficult with tight jeans!

If you have any medical results from previous Xrays, MRI,… you can bring them with you as well.
